Steps to prepare: 1 pack of 500 gms makes 20 - 22 Idlis.
1. Soak the Idli flour overnight for 5 hours adding water. 2 cups flour : 3 and half cups water.
2. Next morning add salt to taste and the batter is ready. Also add more water to get the consistency right if required.
3. Pour the ready batter into Idli moulds and steam for 15 minutes.
4. Hot fresh steamed Idlis are ready.
5. You may want to add vegetables like grated carrot etc to the batter ( optional )
